What do you do when it feels like the walls are closing in?

The last week has been really interesting for me. As some of you know I’ve gone through massive change in the past two and a half years. And as part of that Gary and I have moved to Sunshine Beach in Queensland for awhile.

I have been back in New Zealand for the past 10 days to catch up with my son. In that time I’ve noticed that some people still relate to me as the person that I used to be, with the same judgments and points of view being projected at me, as before. Some relate to me as who I am now, which is great.

I have received quite a few projections from health practitioners about what I should and shouldn’t be doing. In the past I would have become defensive and upset, however I’m just noticing it.

I have also become aware of what happens in my body around certain people that I have known for a long time and how I can default into old patterns or ways of being. This time I caught it and noticed it and could pivot, choosing something different.

So what has changed? I am willing to be conscious and curious about my reactions and rather than judging me or making me wrong, I’ve been willing to choose something different.

I have become so attuned to my body that I can hear her whispers and notice the cues. I am willing to ask questions, like “what is this?” “ is this mine”, or what am I aware of here “. I then pull out of everyone else’s universe and bring my energy back to me.

Learning to listen to my intuition, my body and asking questions has been key for creating more ease and flow in my life.
